Offering something a little different to the new rock scene, Verity White and her band are a breath of fresh air in style, sound and approach which without a doubt offers an alternative to ‘alternative rock’.

Taking influence from ‘90s stalwarts such as Skunk Anansie, Garbage, Sleater Kinney, Pearl Jam, and Tori Amos, Verity White and her band meld driving riffs, powerfully emotional lyrics, as well as passionate vocal lines to create brutal, yet beautiful and honest rock music.

Verity and Alex are currently rocking the lockdown by holding weekly live sessions on Facebook which sees them playing a selection of tracks and generally just having a mad half hour with those who tune in. Despite ‘After the Storm’ (released 12/6/20 on WDFD Records) being recorded during lockdown, it saw them in high demand; the video for lead single ‘Alibi’ premiered on the New Wave of Classic Rock YouTube channel, in addition to the lyric video premiering on Electric Music Mag. Radio WigWam also hosted ‘An Evening With Verity White’. Their second lockdown EP ‘Ungrounded’ was released on 27th November 2020 and can be ordered from the webstore or downloaded/added to your library here. The lead single, ‘Strange Times’ was released on 20th November 2020 make sure you check out the video.

After forming in 2016, Verity White and her band have crammed a lot into a short space of time. Following on from the success of their debut album, ‘Breaking Out’, the subsequent album ‘Reclaim; Set Fire’ released in 2019 wowed fans and critics alike which lead to them signing to WDFD Records. As a result of their growing popularity, ‘Inside Your Love’ was chosen by Earache Records to appear on their compilation album ‘New Wave of Rock n Roll’ which saw them reach new fans.
